The oil is processed from sunflower seed grown by farmers within our supply network and the wider Tanzanian oilseed sector, then refined and packed for retail or bulk buyers. Sunflower is well suited to Tanzania's growing conditions, and the crop is an established part of agriculture in the country, giving us a steady base of local seed supply to draw on.

Quality and standards

Sunflower oil supplied by TanzPro Greens is produced within our wider organic and Fair Trade-aligned operation, which holds the East African Organic Mark (Kilimohai) and is a member of the Tanzania Organic Agriculture Movement (TOAM). Across our operations we avoid synthetic fertilisers and chemical pesticides and are 100% GMO-free, the same standards that apply to our fresh produce, herbs, spices and powders.

We pack and label each batch to the specification agreed with the buyer, so that bottle size, labelling and container format match what your market requires. Export logistics and markets we supply

As a shelf-stable product, sunflower oil ships well without cold-chain handling, unlike our fresh fruit and vegetables. Orders are packed to specification and dispatched from Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam for air freight, or by sea for larger bulk shipments where cost per litre matters more than speed of delivery.

Sunflower oil can be supplied to our export markets — Seychelles, Dubai/UAE, Oman and Russia — as well as East Africa/local buyers, and can be combined with other TanzPro products such as honey, spices or organic powders in the same order and shipment.
